“Without you, we wouldn’t be able to feed our children,” Wilson says with deep gratitude for your generosity.
For neighbors like Wilson, one bad weather day means he may not have enough money to buy food for his family that week...
Wilson works in construction, but anytime there’s inclement weather, he doesn’t get to work — and misses out on pay. That leaves him and his wife, Martha, scrambling to keep food on their table.
That’s why Wilson and Martha are so grateful that you give to the Montgomery County Food Bank. Because of you, they’re able to pick up healthy food for their family from the food pantry at Saint Vincent de Paul in Conroe, a partner agency of the Food Bank.
The family has been receiving food from the food pantry in times of need for the past year. Their children love the chicken and other meat, as well as the fresh strawberries and oranges.
“Thank you for your help!” Wilson says sincerely.
We echo Wilson and thank you for choosing to give on behalf of your neighbors facing hunger. Your generosity means Montgomery County children will grow up strong and healthy...which means a better future for our whole community!
