It has come to our attention that there has been a voluntary recall of some peaches, plums, and nectarines possibly distributed in our network because of a possible health risk. The recall notice said the product has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Please check the recall notice for the PLU codes if you received any peaches, plums, or nectarines (link below). We did have one of our agencies confirm that they receive PLU code 4042. The recall notice urges people not to consume the product and to discard it.
