Montgomery County, TX, October 17, 2022 – Montgomery County Food Bank announced its annual Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala, presented by Woodforest National Bank, will take place Saturday, February 11, 2023 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. The premier fundraising event’s proceeds will benefit Montgomery County Food Bank and the food insecure children, families and seniors it serves. With the Food Bank’s strong buying and sourcing power, every dollar raised will provide up to five meals for those in need in Montgomery County.

This year’s space-themed Gala is titled “One Small Step,” encouraging the community to take action and unite together in the fight against hunger.

“One small step taken by each of us can make a big impact in the lives of our Montgomery County neighbors facing hunger,” said Kristine Marlow, President and CEO, of Montgomery County Food Bank. “I strongly encourage our community members, local businesses and organizations to get involved and turn one small step into a giant leap of hope for those in need.”

Jim and Leigh Ann Carman will serve as the Gala’s Honorary Chairs. Jim is the President of the Houston Region at The Howard Hughes Corporation and member of the Food Bank’s Board of Directors.
