Mobile Food Pantries Deliver Food — and HOPE

Chris and her daughter Melonie visited the Grace Crossing Mobile Pantry in Conroe.

Your kind support has been a huge help for Chris over the last few years. This loving grandmother is widowed and struggles to make ends meet on her fixed income.

We met Chris and her daughter Melonie when the Grace Crossing Mobile Food Pantry rolled into their community. At 80 years of age, Chris knows how important access to nutritious food really is. She says, “We love the meat and fresh produce. It helps with my energy levels.”

Without help from the food pantry, Chris would have to choose between buying groceries and paying rent. “I can pay my bills thanks to the food bank,” she says with a grateful smile.

“The volunteers work very hard to help,” Melonie says of the men and women who helped them make their selections from all the mobile food pantry has to offer.

Thank you for your ongoing support that helps families and individuals, like Chris and Melonie, have access to fresh produce, meats and more.

Your compassion and generosity are putting food on the table and hope in the hearts of your neighbors across Montgomery County this holiday season!
