Lori Begin first volunteered with Montgomery County Food Bank in March of 2020, when the needs of the community sky-rocketed at the start of the pandemic.
Since then, she has been unwavering in her dedication. She is an enthusiastic participant in everything she does, and a welcome addition to any volunteer shift.
Last year, Lori became an even bigger asset to the Volunteer Services team by taking part in our “Apple Corps” training for volunteers wanting to assist in leading volunteer groups.
When the need arose to train a volunteer to fill in at the reception desk, Lori stepped up to the challenge. She’s always up for anything that’s needed, and a true believer in the mission of the Food Bank. We are so grateful to be able to rely on her.
Lori is proof that one person can make an incredible impact, positively affecting so many people within our volunteer program and the community we serve.
Thank you, Lori, for giving so much of yourself and your time and talent to Montgomery County Food Bank.
