In a family with active children ranging in age from 13 to just one year old, someone is always hungry.

Fatima wants only the best for her children and understands that good nutrition is key to their growing strong and doing well in school. But with a baby to care for, her husband David’s construction job is their only income for now.

During her pregnancy, a healthcare worker told Fatima she could get help with groceries and even diapers from Society of Samaritans, a Montgomery County Food Bank partner agency, when the family needs extra help. 

Fatima’s first visit to our food pantry partner was eye-opening… she received the fruit and snacks her children love, healthy vegetables and proteins to make wholesome meals, and diapers for their baby!

Fatima is grateful for the kindness of the staff and volunteers at Society of Samaritans, and for friends like YOU who support Montgomery County Food Bank.
